All AIR4 air purifiers are equipped with HEPA H13 antiviral filter and carbon filter, as well as cold catalyst, UV-C sterilizer, ionizer and antibacterial filter.
The effectiveness of HEPA-13 filtration is less than 0.3 μm. This enables the capture of 99.97% of the microparticles contained in the air, such as fine dust, pollen, pollutants, bacteria, etc..
Modified activated carbon removes formaldehyde/VOC and other air pollutants. This keeps the air noticeably fresh. The area of activated carbon in this filter corresponds to the area of 18 football fields. The carbon has been specially activated and thus has high performance in terms of gas dynamics because of its large absorption coefficient.
The antiviral PET skeleton made of copper and silver ions is the result of the latest research and development. Together with the HEPA-13 filter, it forms a highly efficient two-stage system that isolates and kills bacteria and viruses. Tests by reputable institutes confirm the removal of H7N9 (avian flu), H1N1 (respiratory flu virus) and other viruses.
Negative ions can cause positively charged dust, smoke, viruses and bacteria to stick together in the room air. As a result, these particles lose their ability to float in the air. They fall to the ground and so the air becomes clean. Negative ions can make a difference by creating a healthy environment.
The fibrous fabric we use has been developed and manufactured in the USA. It has antiviral and antibacterial properties, and is resistant to moisture and mould. In addition, it inhibits the reproduction of viruses and bacteria, by piercing the cell wall, preventings the cytoplasm from leaking out and inhibiting the metabolism of all microorganisms, thus stopping their growth and spread.
According to the principle of adsorption catalysis, a room temperature cold catalyst has a wide range of germicidal properties and can effectively break down formaldehyde and other harmful gases in the air into CO2 and H2O. Another feature is natural catalysis. It does not require light and allows the decomposition of various harmful gases at room temperature. In addition, the filter can kill E. coli, staphylococci and other bacteria. It works for a long time, without secondary pollution.
Ultraviolet light breaks down the DNA strands in the bacteria. Cross-linking and breakage of nucleic acid and protein disrupts the biological activity of the nucleic acid and kills the bacteria. The wavelength of the UV, which plays a role in sterilisation, is 254 nm. Our air purifiers achieve this UV range.
